Edvance provides a Policy Publication Portal that lets you share selected finalised policies on a public webpage — useful for meeting your school's transparency obligations and for providing inspector access ahead of a visit.
Publishing a policy
- Go to Compliance → Policies → Publication.
- Select the policies you want to make public and choose which approved version to publish.
- Your school's public policy page is immediately available at a URL you can link to from your school website.
Inspector access tokens
You can generate time-limited, secure Inspector Access links to share with a Department of Education inspector. These give the inspector read access to selected policies without making them fully public on your website. Tokens can be created, listed, and revoked from the Publication management screen.
What publishing does and does not do
Publishing a policy is separate from governance. A policy can be published while governance is still in progress — Edvance will note this. Equally, a fully governance-complete policy does not have to be published if your school prefers to keep it internal. Publication is always an explicit choice.
