Reviewing policies due for update

Edvance maintains a lifecycle and review schedule for every policy in your register. You can see at a glance which policies are current, which are due soon, and which are overdue — and act on them directly from the same screen.

Finding policies that need attention

  1. Go to Compliance → Policies.
  2. Use the filters or list sections such as Attention required or Upcoming reviews to focus on policies that need work.
  3. Overdue policies are clearly highlighted. Policies with regulatory impacts — where a recent circular or guidance document requires a review — are surfaced separately.

On the policy detail page

Each policy shows its current governance state, next review due date, and whether evidence and board approval have been recorded. A lifecycle strip (Draft → Consultation → Board approval → Evidence → Finalised) shows exactly where the policy sits and what the next step is.

From here you can upload a new version of the policy document, start or repeat consultation, and record or schedule board approval.

Regulatory impact

The policy assurance view surfaces any linked regulatory requirements and pending regulatory impacts — including how missing evidence or outdated content affects your inspection readiness score. Where regulatory changes have been detected, Edvance recommends review or re-approval of the specific policies affected.
