A board pack in Edvance represents a single board meeting. It is the container for everything the Board of Management needs to review, approve, and decide at that meeting — assembled from your live school data rather than built manually each time.

What a board pack contains

  • Policy items — policies ready for board approval or review, surfaced automatically based on your policy workflow and upcoming review dates
  • Finance section — your school's current financial position, pulled from finalised finance figures
  • Regulatory updates — any relevant circulars or guidance published since the last meeting, with impact summaries
  • Board report — a generated document covering compliance summary, financial risk, and key actions required
  • Decision record — where you record outcomes and follow-up actions after the meeting

Meeting-centred workflow

Board packs in Edvance are organised around the meeting lifecycle: Prepare Pack → Circulate → Meeting → Follow-Up. Each phase has its own view and actions, so you always know where a pack is in its lifecycle and what needs to happen next.
