If you expect to see data in Edvance but it appears missing, it is usually one of a few causes rather than actual data loss.
Check these first
Correct school selected
Edvance is multi-tenant — users can belong to more than one school. Confirm you are logged into the correct school. The signed-in shell shows the current school slug for clarity.
Filters or date ranges
On lists such as Policies, Finance imports, or Board packs, check that active filters or date ranges are not hiding items. For example, a filter for a specific year or status may be narrowing the view.
Upload or import not completed
Make sure previous uploads or imports completed successfully and that any mapping or classification steps were saved. Partially completed imports or unsaved changes do not appear in readiness views.
Onboarding vs demo data
For live schools, only data added after onboarding will appear. If an operator has run an operational wipe on a demo tenant, seeded demo data may have been cleared intentionally.

If data still appears missing after these checks, contact us at support@edvance.ie. Your system operator can review audit logs and tenant history to confirm what actions were taken.
